Questions

Is this copying other people's websites?

Looklift captures a design system: colors, type sizes, spacing and component structure. It replaces logos with placeholders, leaves out images, and every export reminds your agent to use your own brand and content. Use it to learn and to build something of your own, and respect trademarks.

What does Looklift do with my data?

Nothing leaves your browser. Pages are read only when you click the button, and results are stored on your device. The one exception is the license check with Polar when you activate Pro. There is no account and no analytics.

Which tools does it work with?

Anything that reads Markdown or Tailwind: Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, v0, Bolt, Windsurf and Google Stitch. The agent pack adds a Claude Code skill that loads automatically.

Why are some values different from the site's own CSS?

Looklift measures what the browser actually renders at your window size, then groups near identical values. It favors the colors and sizes that appear most in the first screens, so footers and legal text don't skew the result.
